Donri Roberson

Donri Cardo Roberson was born on September 29, 1964 and died on Sunday, December 13, 2020.

He is predeceased by his Mother, Frances Roberson and Father, Warnell Roberson.

Donri is survived by his brother Ricki Roberson, his sister-n-law Tricia Senft, his nephews Austin Roberson Senft and Hunter Roberson Senft, His wife Darcquise Lavergne, his son Michel Lavergne, his Daughter Kaescha Lavergne Roberson Franco, his son-in-law Keyby Franco, and his 4 grandchildren; Kaehson (9), Zyriah (5), Kehlani (3) and Dante Warnell (2).           

Donri, was an accomplished high school athlete who excelled most notably on the football field.  He was a stand-out, all purpose running back with an edge at Potomac High School in Virginia.

At NAU he was on an athletic scholarship for football majoring in Criminal Justice. While at NAU he developed many life-long friendships. 

After graduating from NAU, Donri went on to play Semi-Pro Football in Ottawa, Canada. 

Donri earned his Home Health Aid Certification which enabled him to take care of the disabled in their homes.


Donri’s happiest times in life was playing football.  He truly loved it.  In 1986, in the NAU vs. TU (University of Tulsa) football game Donri was fired up, and had a stellar game in front of his family and friends.

Donri’s, cancer took him from us much too soon.  He will be greatly missed and remain in our hearts forever.
