    Two-time NAIA All-America honorable mention selection at offensive tackle…Two-year letter winner after transferring from Thornton Junior College in Illinois…Was selected to play in the 1964 Challenge Bowl College All-Star game with teammate Rex Mirich…Received the Most Inspirational Player Award in 1962...Member of the Chain Gang, The Honors and Traditions Organization and President of the Letterman's Club...Served in the United States Marine Corps from 1956-59...Drafted by the Baltimore Colts in 1964 and played with the Houston Oilers (AFL) and Saskatchewan Roughriders (CFL).

     Owen was a respected educator, coach, and administrator who dedicated 25 years of service to the Glendale Union High School District. He made a tremendous impact through his dedication to teaching, coaching, and leadership, leaving a lasting legacy at each school he served.

     In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to any of the GUHSD high schools where Mr. Dejanovich made a significant impact.

A memorial was held Monday the 16th, 2PM at the NAU Citizens Cemetery,
