“Sonny C”, a celebration of a life fully and well lived!

Born:  March 5, 1948 in Marana, Arizona

Entered Eternal Life: August 11, 2021

Played for NAU - 1966-69

While in school at Marana he excelled in sports: football, track and basketball.  Sonny played on scholarship for NAU: 1966-1969. After NAU he went on to play running Back for the Atlanta Falcons 1970-1971.

Sonny worked for the Department of Corrections working with both juveniles and adults. He retired in 2011 and began his dream career in the garden and leisure.

His happiest of times was with family and friends.

Sonny leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Cindy; 3 children: Wendelyn, Shawn and Trina; 8 grand-children, 2 Godchildren, 7 siblings, many nieces and nephews.
